About Joe
Broadcast engineer. Systems integrator. Diver. Leader.
From live television control rooms and war zones to NASA missions and underwater caves, Joe has spent his career working where failure is not an option.
Beyond the shot. Beyond the surface. Beyond the expected.
Above the surface
Joe is a broadcast engineer and systems integrator with decades of experience in live television, military operations, NASA support missions and extreme environments worldwide. His work has taken him to NBC News, the TODAY Show, FOX 10 Phoenix and TV Globo.
Below the surface
Certified at 16, Joe went on to Advanced Trimix, Advanced Cave and rebreather diving, logging more than 3,000 dives. Today he teaches scuba and technical diving as a PADI MSDT and NAUI instructor, based in North Florida's cave country.
Where they meet
In 2005 Joe launched Pod Diver Radio, one of the first scuba podcasts. Its 240 episodes became an oral history of tech diving, and the show lives on as Pod Diver TV, alongside his underwater camera work for broadcast networks.
